About the Author

"So what are your qualifications for writing this blog?"

Virtually none.  :-)

I'm just an Illini fan who likes to write and take pictures.  I'm not an expert on basketball or college hoops.  I never played basketball in school.

I'm a U of I grad and I live in Champaign, Illinois.  Last season was my first year as a season ticket holder.  I was one of the lucky few who got through the busy phone lines when they went on sale.  My seats are in the very top row, behind a hoop, and I'm darn thankful to have them.  :-)

I got a couple tickets to the Final Four back in April.  Awesome fun.

I sometimes participate in the discussion forum on IlliniBoard.com.  Not very often.  My screen name there is 'aereque'.
